| Lead-wrecking-ball Focus Sash Ability: Soundproof Adamant/Jolly 252 atk 252 spd 4 spatk/hp -explosion -taunt -magic coat/light screen/toxic -protect/spark/thunder bolt Now many people will read this and thin (sarcastically) "wow I've never seen a lead electrode before", however most electrodes are used to set up rain dance, or use spec t bolts. This electrode is the most reliable way to pretty much guarantee a KO on the other lead. I'm certain they won't expect electrode to bounce back sleep powders, and hit them with a physical attack besides explosion. Oh, and you could cal this an anti lead, but i like my name better =]
Explosion is probably the only move here besides taunt that is expected, however if u use this set well u can start to play mind games with the opponent on when u are goin to drop the bomb. Speaking of explosion, with 218 atk with adament and one of the fastest pokes ever, if you don't get OHKO or atleast get them down to the point where another oke can come in and EASILY KO them, i will take this set down =p. Taunt is to make sure they don't do anything ghey like SR, TS, or spikes. Magic Coat is a nifty trick since almost every lead tries to put ya to sleep, and with soundprof, hypnosis is out of the picture, and you can EASILY predict a sleep powder. Light screen is only if you have a turn to get something positive for ur team in, like 5 turs of halved sp atks. Toxic is for the really bulky leads, like swampert. Protect is only for lead fake outers tring to break yo stash. Now heres were i get lazy and don't do damage calcs, i don't know whether spark does more than t bolt, now spark has a 30% chance to paralyze which could be fun to use, however if ur NOT using adamant, don't usespark.
The beuty of this set is to, not let them set up, maybe toxic them or put them to sleep with their own move, maybe get in an extra attack, and then simply....BOOM.
Now finally, not to quote smogon, but Team Options =p (I hate smogon) If you are going to use this set, combine a strong sweeper either scarfed, or fast enough to KO the remains of elecctrodes big bang. Unfortuantely the sad part...steel and ghost types are not even effected by explosion, nor do they care getting a thunder bolt to the face, and toxic doesn't even effect them, most of them anyway. Your best bet is to taunt them, or magic coat them, and make like a banana and split.

| I like the Magic Coat thing but I think Substitute does this a bit better seeing as you are going to outspeed anything in OU anyways. Then gives you a free Spark just to ensure that Explosion KO's those pesky pokemon like Torkoal and Drapion.
Plus, there is good reason why Electrode goes for special attacks, because he has a tiny Attack stat. Surprise is good, don't get me wrong, but base 50 Attack (even on an Adamant nature) isn't going to hit as hard as you want it to.
I have an Anti-Lead Electrode that runs like this:
Electrode @ Modest @ Static @ Leftovers
Substitute T-Bolt HP-Ice Taunt
EVs: HP-6 SpA-252 Spe-252
Basically shuts down other leads that try to set up, or Subs up on switches or status-ers. Then Pseudo-Bolt/Beam hits a large portion of pokemon for neutral or better. Lefties gives him 5 Subs if they keep breaking them down. It really is a frustrating set to play against. It can pretty much shut down any stalling pokemon in UU. *looks at Meganium*
I like your set but I think it's not as effective as you want it to be. It's almost like you want it to do 3 different things without anything specific in mind. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of Explosion. It can pretty much guarantee a KO but with pokemon like Regirock, Registeel and Aggron that can easily switch in and become an instant threat that you can't do anything against, it just seems like a wasted slot to me.
Light Screen is great but I think moves like T-Wave and Substitute are better suited for Electrode then Magic Coat. If you predict a status move and they go for an attack, you are rather screwed for several reasons. 1. Electrode is way fragile and 2. He has no reliable recovery. I'd leave Magic Coat to pokemon like Grumpig and Porygon2 who don't care if they get smacked a bit.
Sorry, it's been awhile since I rated a set. Just felt like dumping some knowledge. It's probably a bit dated since I haven't been into pokemon for quite some time but I hope I helped.

| that sub idea is pretty cool, plus now i don't have to worry about SR, cause no focus sash. However, the whole point of explosion is to guarantee a KO, and the reason i did spark instead of t bolt is because i run adamant, so a 218 atk compared to 160-170 spatk would give spark a little bit more damage(ofcourse im too lazy to do damage calcs, correct me if im wrong). Plus spark has 30% chance at para hax which is has a 1 in four chance of getting para. All of your ideas are definetly helpful, however soundproof is just way to useful to jus let slip through ur fingers. I appreciate your help =] | |

| I'm not saying you can't run an Adamant Electrode. I have one of those too. I just think if you are going to run an anti-lead Electrode, you'd be better off with a Modest nature and special attacks just to get a bit more damage in on switches.
The Adamant Electrode I run is:
Electrode @ Adamant @ Static @ Leichi Berry
Spark Sucker Punch Explosion Substitute
EVs: HP-6 Atk-252 Spe-252
Pretty fun but not super fantastic.
