| I'm actually pretty suprised. This team isnt that bad. It's just presented horribly.
Snorlax is instantly walled by ghosts. Drop Sleep Talk for Fire Punch and that will cover both your ghost and steel weakness for this set.
You could try Toxic over Rock Slide on Steelix to help him break other walls. Otherwise he is good.
I don't know why you have Thunder Punch on Sceptile. Grass covers just about everything Electric does. I'd say put in Outrage for some Dragon coverage.
Moltres is a bit odd. I wouldnt recommend running a Sunny Day set if you don't have a Sunny Day team. Moltres isn't bulky enough to set up and sweep like that, plus it kills Raichu's Thunder. I'd suggest just a pure sweeper set:
Moltres @ Modest @ Choice Scarf
Over Heat
Ancient Power
Air Slash
Hidden Power(Ground)/Flamethrower
If I remember correctly Hypnosis' accuracy dropped to 60% in Platinum. So I'd say relying on it for Dream Eater seems kinda pointless. That said, I think you should swap Dream Eater for Thunderbolt/Focus Blast but keep Hypnosis.
Raichu's set goes against Moltres who won't be happy about her Fire attack's power dropping. It's an easy fix though. Drop Rain Dance for a move like Thunder Wave/Substitute. If you are worried about Thunder missing then swap it for Thunderbolt but they are both good choices.
Over all I'd give your current team a 6/10. With my tips I'd give it a 8/10. It seems like you are lacking something but I don't know what it is. If it comes to me I'll repost. | |
