Unfortunately I do suck at pokemon ninja. After 20 some odd matches, I've only won one...It was 6 to 1 too. I would give up on pokemon, if it wasn't so much fun. But all this new fangled talk about Iv's and Ev's has got my head spinning. I liked pokemon 124 times better when it was simple like R/B/Y. 'sigh' I miss silver

Tell you what, when my WI-FI team is ready, well battle! Me and you are kind of on the same page about Pokemon!

These whole IVs and EVs have my head spinning to! I didnt find out about them untill like 5 months ago when I first got my Sapphire Version! I remember when Pokemon was simple to! You could go in the wild,catch the Pokemon and that Pokemon was a Masterpeice when it was Level 100!

Now your Pokemon is only valueble if it was breeded! If it was caught out in the wild,it is worthless! And it has to be some sort of Naure! How would you like it if your parents threw you away if you had a Sassy Personality or a Weird Personality? It would be cruel!

You know, the Japs are kind of backwards when it comes to stuff! Yes I said Japs in a Forum! How Racist of me! (Sarcasm)

i mean for goodness' sake its just a freaking video game. no one is forcing you to play it for the metagame. the whole iv and ev thing is something that gamefreak put in to make it more interesting for the people who want to put the extra effort in.

i personally find it a little offensive that you talk down about the people that put in the extra effort to get more enjoyment out of the game. just because you dont like thinking too hard about a video game doesnt mean you can insult people.

so go ahead and play how you want to, but dont go around insulting people that are different than you.

Im just saying, the whole thing in Pokemon with breeding is kind of backwards! I admire people who work hard! It is a very good quality to have!

I just dont like it how Pokemon with a nature that is not agreeing with there stats is worthless! I know its just a game but it does not follow reality very well! Not that I look for that in a game but I atleast expect things to make sense!

So Nick, do not take things out of proportion and take it so offensively! I think the whole EV thing is interseting but I dont like how things have to be so sophisticated! That is one of things I dont like about Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering! The gameplay is pretty cool but the championships and the type of tournaments are confusing!


That is why I liked Pokemon! But its gotten a little sophisticated to be kids game! With event only Pokemon and all but atleast it is not like those confusing card games! (I know there is Pokemon TCG but Im talking about the game!)

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PLEASE!!! I did not find what ninja said offensive or any of that at all, I just mentioned the fact that people need to quit harassing my F&$%ing Magcargo, but I'm just saying prefered it back in R/B/Y.

When all you had to do was go out, catch a pokemon, beat the gyms, beat the E4, and catch mewtwo. 'sigh'. Ever since all this stuff about breeding and natures and EV's and IV's came around I've practically stopped playing pokemon entirely.

I've been playing Digimon World Dusk, and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword a whole hell of a lot more than this pokemon anymore. I kind of wished I hadn't saved up for 2 and a half months to buy this stupid DS in the first place. All its done is cause me major headache.
Now I want you to watch the smiley and replace the computer with pokemon diamond.

Uh Brikien, I think EVs and IVs have been around since Red and Green Version!

EV's and IV's didn't start until GSC ninja. I just found that out recently

It happaned to me on Serebii once Brikien. I know how you feel.

Personally I hate Serebii. All the people there are either really ignorant about pokemon, or really big jerks.

I know Brikien! My same thoughts exactly! Serebii are big jerks! And they act like they know everything but they dont! I got infracted for Double Posting! You know,Anytrades doesnt do that! That is why I stick to this site. The Admin is always showing up, the mods dont ban you for no reason,an well, most people here are nice! All these other sites have the most absurd rules! And they're so long! Cmon! Its Pokemon for god sake! They act like they're Google or something.


Now Marriland is okay but they have all these really cool features but they dont work! Like Battle EX for example. It sounds really cool but It said it has bugs and stuff in it and now 4 months later, they still havent fixed it and the Owner doesnt post news bullitens anymore. (I think he's grown out of Pokemon now.

If I ever need any info on a pokemon I automatically go straight to marriland. They tell me abilities, egg moves, and etc. And your right the people here on anytrades are all very helpful. But don't worry Leafeon will bring peace to all anytrade kind.

Yeah, but I don't want to evolve it for the same basic reason Donald doesn't evolve his quilava. I like Bayleef more than I like Meganium. But other than that thanks Ninja. But I can't start until I have all pokemon for it.

If I said it b4 ms I'll say it again. THIS TEAM IS FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE GAME!!! I don't care if all 6 pokemon have the worst IV's or natures on the planet. That never ever ever stopped me before. From this day forward Brian K. C. is thru with EV training and IV breeding. At the max I might do an egg move or two...But other than that sure I would like a caterpie.
