Multi-Pokemon EV Training

Introduction

As the name suggests, this section will explain how to EV train multiple Pokemon at once. If you recall, when training with EXP. Share all the Pokemon get the same amount of EVs, so if you are battling a Seaking, all your Pokemon will gain 2 attack EVs. What you will need for this method:

-EXP Share (amount depends on how many Pokemon you are EV training at once)
-Pokerus
-A strong battle Pokemon
-A piece of Paper
-A Pencil
-Counter App
When multi-Pokemon EV training, it is best to do it with Pokemon who have the same stats being EV trained. As for places to EV train:

Hit Points
~VS Seeker on Route 209 just below Solaceon, a girl that has 5 Bidoof. [1 EV each]

Attack
~Gyarados and Seaking(2 EVs): Super Rod on route 209, Lake Verity (Mesprit's Lake)

Defense
~Geodude and Hippopotas (1 EV): Ruin Maniac's Cave Route 214

Special Attack
~Golduck (2 EVs each): Resort Area, the small pond (with the tree in the centre) only gives out Golduck from surfing. Using Sweet Scent is recommended.

Special Defense
~ Surf Route 223: Tentacruel (2 EVs), Mantyke (1 EV)

Speed
~VS. Seeker: Fisherman Route 205 (top right) with 6 Magikarp (1 EV each) giving you a total of 60 EVs after the battle.

These places were chosen for the constant amount of EVs given, and the fact that after Pokerus, the increments in which the stat increases is either by 2 or 4 making the training easy.

Same EV-Spread Training Method

This method is really quite simple. You train multiple Pokemon who need training in the same stat and needs the same amount of EVs. I will use Choice Band Pokemon for example. Let’s say you want to train your Salamence, Heracross, Garchomp, and Shedinja to have 252 EVs in attack. All you will need is to infect all of them with the Pokerus, and give them all EXP. Share (you can exclude one if that is your battling Pokemon). Make sure all these guys are in your party!

Now go to Route 209 and fish for Seaking or Gyarados for your EV training and train until you have 252 EVs in said stat. Keep count using your Counter App in your Poketch. Choose one Pokemon to battle them, either a really strong Pokemon if the Pokemon you are EV training is at a low level, or one of your EV training Pokemon. Since both these Pokemon give 2 EVs in Atk, combined with Pokerus you will gain 4 EVs, you would be done EV training after 63 kills. Now you have fully EV trained one stat on four Pokemon!

So as a simple recap of what to do:
-Infect all the Pokemon with Pokerus
-Give all Pokemon that need to be EV trained EXP. Share
-Go to the specified location for said stat
-Put a strong Battling Pokemon at the head of the party
-Begin EV Training of said stat
-Rinse and repeat for other stats

Now you may be wondering: “What if my Pokemon don’t have the same EV-Spreads, but are trained in the same stats? Can I still do Multi-Pokemon EV-Training?”

The answer is yes.

Different-Spread, Same-Stat Training Method

This is basically the same thing as the other method, except concerns training Pokemon who are EV trained in the same stats, but has different spreads. Let’s take for example an Infernape who may run 24 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 232 Spd, Salamence with 120 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 136 Spd. Now you may think that this method is too hard, but it’s quite simple. What you will need is EXP. Share, Pokerus, Counter App, Pencil and Paper, and a strong Pokemon to do the fighting.

Step 1:
Get a piece of paper and write down the stat you are currently training. Then, write down the Pokemon’s names that you are training and the required amount of EVs beside them, and also the total amount of EVs in that stat you need to train. This number will be dictated by the highest amount of EVs a single Pokemon needs.

Example:

Attack Stat:
Salamence-120 EVs
Infernape-24 EVs
Train until-120 EVs

Step 2:
If you have not already done so, infect the Pokemon you are training with the Pokerus.

Step 3:
Give all the Pokemon you need to train EXP. Share.

Step 4:
Put your Battling Pokemon in the front of the party and head off to the specified EV Training areas.

Step 5:
This is where it will get complicated for some of you. Get your counter app out to keep track of the EVs gained as you train, and get that piece of paper out that you wrote the required EVs on earlier. Remember; don’t place one counter for each kill, place one counter for each EV gained.

As you train, you will eventually need to remove the EXP. Share from the Pokemon who have reached the required amount of EVs. Take for example Infernape and Salamence. Infernape only needs 24 attack EVs and Salamence 120. When the Counter App reaches 24, go to the Party Menu and remove EXP. Share from Infernape. Proceed to train for the rest of the EVs needed for your other Pokemon (in this case, 96 more for Salamence). You do not need to reset the counter app!

Step 6:
Rinse and Repeat for all the other stats you need to EV train.

Now although in my examples, I only gave 2 Pokemon being EV trained, you can do this with multiple others. I just kept it simple for the sake of explanation.
