The Counter Game

I saw this game on a different site, and thought it was a really creative way to get new battlers out there in the battling world. What it is, is i'll post up a pokemon's complete set, ability, moves, EV spread, etc. and what you have to do, is try and think up the absolute perfect counter to that pokemon. A counter, is something that resists the STAB attacks of a pokemon, has an ability that screws them over somehow, i.e. Insomnia screws over pokemon that rely on hypnosis to set up. Then you'll post the pokemon's complete set, ability, moves, EV spread, etc. and explain how it counters that pokemon. Then, the next person to post, has to do the same thing, but to counter the pokemon YOU sent out to counter the PREVIOUS pokemon. For instance, I say scizor, and some1 puts up Rotom-H as the counter. Then the next person to post has to counter rotom-H. Get the picture? Ok, let's start this off easy.



Practically a standard breloom I believe. The perfect counter for this specific set can't be found in OU, or BL, or even UU, but the pokemon that was practically BUILT to counter breloom, is found...in the NU tier. The only hint I can give you, is I have one of them, Net has one of them, and Nick has one of them. Good luck with your bad selves trying to find this counter =P *so easy a caveman could do it*

I don't know what NU pokemon you are talking about but my Jumpluff destroys Breloom.



Resists both attacks by Breloom and gets STAB x4 HP-Flying in on it. If I ran substitute on it or lum berry it would work even better. =4

After the intimidate, i'm fairly certain gyro ball is a 2HKO or so. Or I can go the safe route, and sleep you, and set up rocks.

Also, Ariados was the perfect counter for breloom folks =P just thought you all might wanna know that

strategy is to sleep with hypnosis and set up nasty plot to try to ohko. lum berry is there for if you wake up to hynosis me and dark pulse is there for the flinches if you need them

Really any Rotom form can stop that, unless of course it is Heatproof, but here's the best IMO if it is Levitate...
