I dunno, something cool I though up on the spot. Charizard subs up when you sub, then Fire Blasts to break the sub, then Fire Blasts again for a OHKO. It also resists Dynamicpunch and Iron Head which is pretty neat.

Can't use Hariyama cos of the Air slash :(

Bring Porygon2 in while you taunt the milotic, then proceed to bounce back the intimidate and hit with a powerful Tbolt. With the bulkyness of the gyarados, it might be a 2HKO w/o Stealth Rock up, but with the additional Sp Atk EV's, it should be a OHKO. Magic Coat is to help with things that might come in later such as breloom. Recover is self-explanatory...

uhh...that really doesn't counter Gyarados at all...I mean Trace for Intimidate is nice and T-bolt can 2HKO, but Gyarados will still be faster and probably 2HKO with Waterfall. I don't really care, but its not like you can just randomly send in a pokemon to absorb the Taunt and expect to still have a counter.

Basic idea, substitute then sweep. Substitute takes one sucker punch, then swellow only needs to take one Mach punch (so yeh, a critical hit might change everything, haven't checked). Thought about putting Claydol in, but meh.

For the record to BOTH of you >.> bringing a porygon2 like that into a non-setup gyarados, will completely ruin it. A +1, -1 Bulkygyara's waterfall will barely SCRATCH Porygon2. With SR up, Porygon2 OHKO's back with tbolt. Without it, Gyarados's waterfall is still roughly a 3-4HKO. Porygon2 is also, you seem to be forgetting, one of the top counters to both salamence and gyarados.

Damage Calculations for standard Bulky Gyarados...

-1 Waterfall: 17.89-21.14%
-1 +1 Waterfall: 26.56-31.44%


Plus the ability to recover off the damage AFTER KO'ing said Gyarados, makes it all the better. When it comes to using Porygon2, I KNOW it's capabilities.

Also Tori, on your hitmonlee you failed to mention what item it's holding...

Aggron laughs at your facades and brave birds. Easily sets up substitute while you're at high health, and is able to focus punch or stone edge you into a quick grave. Iron Head is a good STAB move that can hurt certain pokemon severely.

Uhh...well actually I didn't care about the Porygon2, but you randomly threw in Flygon to take the Taunt. This isn't "Throw in a random pokemon THEN counter Game" so that's the problem I had. And without the ability to "recover off Gyarados's hits" I can then throw in a Swampert to take the Thunderbolt and then throw in a Crobat because I feel like it THEN throw in an Infernape to OHKO with CC.

And no Bri, the Hitmonlee was holding Leftovers the entire time >.>

The Dusknoir I used to run on occasions back in the day is back...WoW will cripple whatever you end up having to switch in after bringing it in on the predicted fighting attack. Thunder and Ice Punch provide a (P) Bolt Beam combo, that provides excellent coverage. Rest can be used for when it gets low on health, or if fire blast somehow manages to score a lucky burn on him.

Bronzong takes laughable damage from your attacks. Immunity to EQ is a big help for switching it in. It also resists Stone Edge, which is another huge plus. Finally, it only takes neutral damage from your dark STABs. Then since you're running a Choice Scarf Set, Macho Brace will bring bronzong's speed down to terrifyingly bad levels, and gyro balls power to extremes. Roughly a 2HKO I believe. EQ is a filler move mostly, but can help in a pinch. Hypnosis is good for effectively shutting down ttar, most likely forcing a switch. Finally, explosion is there to go down with a bang on whatever you feel like bringing in after ttar. <--- emphasis on that

Hmm...and what if I brought in my Bouncing Gyarados, Bri? Then what? I'll tell you. You would Explode while my Gyarados is high up in the air =P

I can't do Gyarados because then you'll just to Porygon2 so here goes nothing...

Time for a little golem based action. Golem laughs at both of your attacks. Stone Edge should be a 1-2 HKO, if it's the latter, then EQ can be used on your predicted roost. Fire Punch provides coverage for anything you may consider bringing in. Explosion is a last ditch move to take something out quickly.

Pretty Straightforward. Since your suicune is only capable of using one attack [surf] then a water absorber is the absolute best counter for it. Makes a decent wish passer as well. Toxic can be used to stall out something that comes in. Surf is good STAB.


No editing your post now tori =P come up with something else to counter vaporeon please.

lol I would send out my Taunt Gyarados to counter it since it does it sooooooo perfectly, but this time, why not change it up...

Stalls out Vaporeon with Psycho Shift. You Toxic me then I Psycho Shift it back to you on the next turn. Then you have to Toxic me again when I have already recovered all of the damage and you are already 1 stage into Toxic. WHAT NOW BRI?????

This one seemed to be a tiny bit trickier, but after running some quick calcs, I got an excellent counter to bring in AFTER you KO Vaporeon.

Simple enough. After doing some quick damage calcs I discovered that Outrage is a guaranteed OHKO on latias with that EV spread, NO MATTER WHAT. Fire Blast is to keep you from bringing in a skarm or forretress to wall the set. EQ is awesome STAB that hurts many a thing. U-turn lets me get the hell outta dodge while doing some damage.

=P No weaviles now tori, bring something else

Substitute blocks Hippowdons yawn with ease. EQ is resisted by abomasnow, while ice fang is a paltry 65 base power with neutral damage. Blizzard is a OHKO on hippowdon with your EV spread. Then Tori can send out her precious Regirock. Grass Knot is a guaranteed OHKO on regirock. Also, abomasnow easily outspeeds regirock, so rock slide won't be hitting particularly soon =P Subseed is there for general annoyance.

My past Ninetales set that I used on my first few UU teams. This beast gets a Substitute in before Leech Seed hits, then resists both Blizzard AND Grass Knot. They both are about 4HKOs/5HKOs and can't break my Substitutes.

Ninetales eh? There's a word for ninetales when it comes to using my pokemon of choice. What is it again? Oh yeah SETUP FODDER!!!

Altaria easily resists both of your attacks. After 1 ddance, I outspeed. But hey, why not go for 2? Afterwards, it's simply EQ you until you cry. Outrage is good STAB to hit whatever wants to come in =P Roost gives quick healing and temperarily lowers it's weakness to ice.

Altaria is extremely weak, so unless you have 2 DDs up, I won't be worried. Anyways, I think we have been through most of my favorite pokemon, but not this one!!!

OR, if you DDance again, I can Encore you and then Tickle you down to nothing, then switch to anything with Pursuit and PWN you!!!
